In-Stock Fishes, and More!
We currently have many in-stock fishes, listed below. All wild-collected in-stock fishes have been tank-acclimated and parasite pre-treated. All in-stock fishes are ready to find a home in your aquarium! The above in-stock fishes are a Hornyhead Chub (Nocomis biguttatus, above) and a Johnny Darter (Etheostoma nigrum, below).

Regarding our southern-U.S. fish offerings, this round of ordering is currently OPEN. Our supplier will be out collecting as soon as this weekend! So place your order soon to get some of these cool fishes!
The pricing on the Fieryblack Shiners and Savannah Darters is $17.50 each. All of the other fishes in this list are $11.50 each. That does not include tax and shipping, where applicable. Please also note that in order to place an order with our supplier for Fieryblack Shiners, it has to be a total order of 30 Fieryblacks or more. That doesn’t mean that each person has to order 30 of them. It just means that I have to get sufficient orders to place a total order with him of 30 of that species. Currently, we are up to half of the 30 fishes! So, this would be a great opportunity to take advantage of this offering!
Please also note that there has been some flooding at the Fieryblack Shiner collection location. So, our supplier won’t be able to collect there for a few weeks. But, we’re gathering orders so that we’ll have a sufficient quantity of fishes to place an order when he can get out there.

The Weather is Warming, but Slowly!
The outside temperature is still going up. Not a lot of green foliage, though, like in the picture above. Hopefully, that will start to happen soon!
Regarding collecting new fishes locally, unfortunately, our 2024 collecting permit hasn’t been issued by the state Department of Natural Resources (DNR) yet. We suspect this is because they were not expecting the weather to warm up so quickly. What this means for you is that you can purchase our captive-spawned fishes, our southern U.S. fishes and our in-stock fishes. But, new fish collections of local, Wisconsin fishes have to wait until our new permit is issued. We thank you for your patience and understanding!
